Do extended school day programs affect performance in college admission tests?

We assess the effects of a Brazilian extended high school day program on college admission test scores. The entails an increase in Math/Science and Language class time, introduction extra-class activity time. exploit variation implementation timing to apply difference-in-differences strategy event-study approach. Results show positive large scores suggest that these are likely driven by increased hours. Moreover, affects not only subjects for which it contemplates but also Humanities. Finally, we able time dedicated academic-related activities works as multiplier effects. In fact, additional hours spent complementary make magnitude double from 0.092-0.150 0.180-0.317 standard deviation.
